Hidden Mickeys

Hidden Mickeys started out as inside jokes among the theme park designers within the Disney company. A 'hidden Mickey' is silhouette of Mickey Mouse's head that is integrated into various attractions, architecture, advertising, and other elements created by Disney.

Imagineers, the people who design the parks and attractions, often integrate the hidden Mickey symbols so well into the environment that viewing them, even in plain sight, can be tricky. It has become a tradition for Disney fans to try and spot the hidden Mickeys within the theme parks and films.

Steve Barrett's web site, HiddenMickeys.org, has spawned its own following of as the site attempts to spot and archive every instance of a Hidden Mickey in the world! The Disney-MGM Studios are no exception to this quest. Check out the sightings for The Great Movie Ride, both in and outside of the attraction.
